Phishing: Configure Reactive Training

Phishing campaigns with reactive training provide the ability to identify and evaluate high-risk users and automatically enroll these users in phishing awareness training. If you enabled reactive training when you set up your phishing campaign, then these steps will help you to configure the training you want deliver.

Note

For your first phishing campaign, it is recommended that you do not enable Reactive Training.

  1. Follow the steps to Create a Phishing Campaign, and in the Campaign Options page, select Yes to enable Reactive Training.

  2. In the Reactive Training page, enter the Name of your training campaign. This will appear on your training campaign overview screen.

  3. Click Select Training to choose the Category and Course:

    1. Category: Select the training course by selecting the dropdown arrow in the Category section. The default is Email Security, but you can scroll through the list to find other topics, such as Mobile Device Security, Authentication and so on.

    2. Course: Next, choose a course related to your topic from the Course section, which automatically populates based on the topic you've chosen.

      Note

There are two types of training courses available, and these are indicated by the following icons:

      • The Video Training SFT-Video-Icon.jpg icon indicates that the training course is provided through video. If you select this, a Preview Video option appears so that you can view the video before selecting it.

      • The Interactive Training SFT-Interactive-Training-Icon.jpg icon means that interaction from the user is required, such as answering questions, navigating pages, and so on.

    3. Click Select to continue or Cancel to exit.

  4. In the Criteria section, you can indicate the action a user performs that will trigger the training sign-up notification. You can select Yes to a number of triggers:

    • Mail Opened: User views an email in email client, either fully or as a preview (image pixel was requested).

    • Form Entered: User clicks in an input field on a phishing form.

    • Image Click: User clicks on image on phishing page.

    • URL Clicked: User clicks on a URL link in the phishing email.

    • Form Filled: User performs keystroke in a field, such as a text box, in a phishing form.

    • Page Click: User clicks anywhere on a phishing page, other than a link, image, or button.

    • Attachment: User opens a phishing email attachment.

    • Form Posted: User attempts to submit a phishing form.

    • Page Nav: User clicks a link on the phishing form or phishing page.

  5. Select Next to continue, Back to return to the previous page, or Cancel to exit.

  6. On the Reactive Training Options page, you can configure the following:

    • Use Instant Training: (Default = No) The default setting of No means that training is not available to the user until the action defined in Step 3 above is performed. If you select Yes, then training is immediately available to the user without that action being performed. Once the action is taken, the user is notified by email.

    • General Certificate: (Default = No) Select Yes if you want the user to receive a certificate after they've completed the course.

    • Send Assignment Email: (Default = Yes) If you select Yes, then the user is notified in an email that they've been registered for training.

    • Assignment Template: From the dropdown menu, select the template to use for the assignment email.
