Impersonating a Customer
Impersonating allows you to view the portal interface with the same view and permissions as a user with a lower level of access (role) than you. For example, a Partner Administrator can impersonate a Customer Administrator. However, a Customer Administrator can not impersonate a Partner Administrator, as that requires a higher level of access.
Impersonating a customer allows a partner admin to view the portal interface with the same view and permissions as that customer. This is necessary for managing customers in the portal.
If you are a partner admin (or higher), follow the steps below to impersonate a customer.
From the sidebar menu click Customers and choose the product for the customer you want to impersonate, e.g. WebTitan Cloud.
The Customer panel displays, showing a list of active customers for the product you selected.
Click the impersonate
icon in the Options column to the right of the customer you want to impersonate. Your view and permissions will change to those of the customer you are impersonating.To stop impersonating and return to your own portal interface and permissions, click Stop Impersonating in the sidebar menu.
